Paul Venokur has more than 40 years of experience in the public and private sectors of accounting. With experience as both a Public Accountant and a Chief Financial Officer, Paul brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to his clients.
Paul specializes in establishing the accounting, payroll and banking relationships for U.S. subsidiaries of foreign entities and expatriate tax for non-immigrant aliens living in the United States. His understanding of both corporate and personal concerns of taxation enables him to address the complexities of international business and help optimize results. With a hands-on approach to client service, Paul develops customized solutions to best suit the needs of all parties involved in the expatriate experience.
Paul has long-standing relationships with lawyers and tax advisors in Germany and the U.K. and an established relationship with a German audit company. These International resources allow Tarlow & Co. to accept engagements that require the conversion of financial statements and audit reports to be in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. Paul is also a member of the Board of Directors of a German software company.
Paul began his career in public accounting, followed by more than 20 years in the private sector. In 2001, he established Venokur & Co. with Adam Venokur, and the firm merged with Tarlow & Co. in 2005. Paul is an Enrolled Agent, admitted to practice before the IRS.
Bernard Baruch College, Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting
